Anneke Lubben

Anneke Lubben has extensive experience in research infrastructure and facilities, particularly in the field of material and chemical characterization. Anneke has held various leadership roles at the University of Bath, including Director of Research Infrastructure and Facilities and Head of Material and Chemical Characterisation. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and managing cutting-edge research infrastructure, providing tools and expertise to accelerate research for the university and its users.

Additionally, Anneke has contributed to the field of research infrastructure at other organizations. Anneke has served as a Member of the Strategic Advisory Group on Infrastructure and Capital at the Medical Research Council, Chair of the Strategic Advisory Team for Capital Research Infrastructure at EPSRC, and a Member of the High-Level Group for National Research Facilities at EPSRC. Anneke has also held positions at the Henry Royce Institute and GW4 Alliance, further demonstrating their expertise in technical infrastructure and knowledge.

Earlier in their career, Anneke worked as an Application Scientist at Bruker Daltonics, where they provided support to sales staff and customers, conducted demonstrations, and performed technical support and training.

Anneke Lubben obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marine Science with French from the University of Southampton in 1998. In 1996-1997, they pursued a Master's degree in Oceanography at the Université de Bordeaux. Later, they completed their education with a PhD in Environmental Engineering and Mass Spectrometry from the University of Southampton in 2001.
