Nic Zhang

Nic Zhang 张清宁 is a highly experienced academic and engineer, currently serving as the Director of MSc Recruitments and Admissions and a Lecturer at the University of Bath since April 2020. Additionally, Nic is a Visiting Academic at Chongqing University of Technology and has been involved in academic collaborations since January 2022. Nic's previous roles include Lecturer in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems and Electrification System Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, where responsibilities encompassed system integration for various vehicle applications. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, Nic held positions ranging from PhD Researcher to Project Engineer, contributing to projects involving turbocharging systems, engine emissions, and electrified powertrain systems. Nic holds an MPhil/PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from the University of Bath, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University.
