Hisham Farag

Hisham Farag is a highly experienced academic and finance professional serving as the Director of the Sustainable Financial Innovation Research Centre (SFiC) at the University of Birmingham since March 2018. In addition to this role, Hisham is a member of the Investment Sub-Committee and holds the position of Professor of Finance. Since January 2016, Hisham has also served as the Director of Research & Knowledge Exchange and Head of the Department of Finance at Birmingham Business School, where Hisham leads initiatives related to the Business School Research Excellence Framework (REF). Hisham Farag earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance from the University of Birmingham.
