John Craven

John Craven serves as the Chief Executive Officer of System 2, where leadership focuses on using applied research to tackle significant social issues, particularly aiming to enhance the lives of disadvantaged youth. As an Honorary Fellow in Educational Equity at the University of Birmingham and a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts, Craven emphasizes educational and social equity. Previous experience includes directing the Social Mobility Commission, successfully growing the charity upReach to a national presence with significant recognition, and teaching roles in economics and mathematics. Craven holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a PGCE in Maths from the University of Oxford.
