Melanie Roxby-MacKey

Melanie Roxby-Mackey serves as a Senior Digital Education Developer at the University of Birmingham, contributing to the Digital Education, Libraries and Learning Resources Division since September 2016, where current efforts focus on leading a Generative AI programme aimed at enhancing teaching and assessment across the institution. Prior to this role, Melanie was an Educational Technologist at the University of Birmingham, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching initiatives. Melanie's extensive experience at the University of Cambridge spans a decade, during which time roles included Computing and CALL Officer, Director of the Certificate in Humanities Computing for Languages, and various Computer Officer positions, specializing in Digital Humanities and technical support for multiple faculties. Current academic pursuits include a PhD candidacy in Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Birmingham, following degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Southampton in relevant fields.
