Cepler Pro-bono Lead Project Coordinator at University of Birmingham

Sophia Odo is currently the CEPLER Pro-Bono Lead Project Coordinator at the University of Birmingham, overseeing projects such as the Student Voice Street Law initiative at University College Birmingham. In addition to this role, Sophia has held various positions including Student Enterprise Ambassador, Student Representative for Birmingham Law School, and Pro-Bono Student Volunteer for a Women’s Refuge. Concurrently, Sophia is a candidate at Rare Recruitment and a member of Their Legal Empire, while also serving as a Student Mentor and Welfare Officer for The Black Law Students Society. Sophia is involved with The Holdsworth Club and has participated in an insight evening at Mills & Reeve. As Events Officer for the University of Birmingham Afro-Dance Society and a mentee at Bridging Barriers, Sophia gains diverse experience in leadership and collaboration. Legal internships at Clyde & Co and participation in a Spring Vacation Scheme with Legal Cheek further enhance Sophia’s practical legal knowledge. Sophia is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws - LLB at the University of Birmingham, building on a foundation in Humanities (Law) from The Regent College.
