Melika Norouzbeygi is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, contributing to the design and implementation of the Categorical Message Passing Language (CaMPL) and researching type classes for both sequential and concurrent programming. Previously, Melika held positions as a Senior Frontend Developer and Frontend Developer at Rahnema College, focusing on website performance and the development of a versatile UI library, while also improving student experiences through collaboration on a Learning Management System. Additional experience includes frontend development roles at Yektanet and Sanjagh, enhancing user interfaces and code reusability. Melika began a career with a Software Developer Internship at Rahnema College and holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
