Valentyna Maslieieva

Valentyna Maslieieva is an experienced laboratory manager and research assistant at the University of Calgary since November 2016, and serves as co-founder and CEO of Cytinnov Biotechnologies Ltd. since March 2020. With a solid background in neuroscience, Valentyna developed a significant research project on purinergic receptors, securing a five-year NSERC grant during tenure as a research assistant at the University of Calgary from 2010 to 2014. Skills include advanced experimental design, data analysis, and strong communication abilities, complemented by a diverse range of experiences including a career break focused on personal development and international travel. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
