Max Giella is the Chief of Staff for the Center for Innovation (C4i) and the AI Law & Innovation Institute at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco), starting in June 2023. Prior to this role, Max held positions at Partners Capital and as a recruiter at Truex Métier/Insight Recruiting. At Lyft, Max served in various roles including Airports Policy Manager, where responsibilities included leading airport permit campaigns and collaborating on policy initiatives. Additional experience includes working as an aide to Jennifer Siebel Newsom at The Representation Project, serving clients at Fidelity Investments, and providing constituent services for U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Max holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
