Rhiannon Bailard

Rhiannon Bailard is currently the Chief Operating Officer at University of California-Hastings College of Law. Rhiannon has held this position for 4 years, and prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Operations at the same school. Rhiannon has also been a Member of Chief, a private network designed to support women in leadership positions, for 1 year and 5 months. In addition, they served as the Vice President of the Board for NORTH OF MARKET TENDERLOIN COMMUNITY BENEFIT CORPORATION for 3 years and 1 month, and as a Board Member & Vice Chair of External Affairs for Save The Bay for 4 years.

Before working at University of California-Hastings College of Law, Rhiannon spent 12 years at Pepperdine University in various roles including Associate Vice President, Governmental & Regulatory Affairs, Assistant Vice President, Governmental & Regulatory Affairs, and Director, Regulatory Affairs. During their time at Pepperdine University, Rhiannon was also an Adjunct Professor in the Social Ethical & Environmental Responsibility department at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School for 4 months. In addition, they served as a Member and Vice President of the Board for Malibu Chamber of Commerce for 4 years.

Rhiannon Bailard attended Pepperdine University School of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor cum laude. Rhiannon was also a member of the Honors program and received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, which is awarded to the top 25% of the class. In addition, they completed a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.

Prior to law school, Bailard attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While at CU Boulder, they were the recipient of the Hawaii Alumni Merit Scholarship and was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.

Bailard is also a LEED Green Associate and has a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
