John Perry

John Perry is a distinguished philosopher with an extensive academic career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at Stanford University and Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Riverside, John teaches part-time and engages in research focused on the philosophy of language, the philosophy of mind, and the concepts of personal identity and self. John has been a co-host of Philosophy Talk since 2003 and held the position of Associate Professor of Philosophy at UCLA from 1968 to 1974. John obtained a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Cornell University and a B.A. in Philosophy from Doane University.
