Richard Edwards

Richard Edwards currently serves as the Executive Director of the XCITE Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of California, Riverside, a role held since November 2019, where leadership of both the XCITE Center and XCITE Sandbox is emphasized. Prior to this, Richard Edwards was the Executive Director for Strategic Learning and an Instructor at Ball State University from 2011 to November 2019, contributing to immersive learning initiatives and overseeing the iLearn Research program. Additional academic positions include Visiting Professor at Indiana University, Assistant Professor at IUPUI and Saint Mary's College of California, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Southern California. Richard Edwards holds a PhD in Critical Studies from the University of Southern California and two AB degrees in English from the University of Chicago.
