Allison Boyd

Allison Boyd, MD, currently serves as the Urgent Care Medical Director at the University of California, San Francisco, a position held since July 2024. Previously, Allison held the role of Area Medical Director at Carbon Health, overseeing the clinical operations of 19 clinics and managing a team of over 50 clinicians from March 2023 to May 2024. Allison's extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Physician and Partner at The Permanente Medical Group, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed emergency and urgent care, telemedicine, peer review, and mentoring. Earlier career stages included roles as a Participant Physician and Associate Physician at NYU Langone Health and as an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician. Allison earned a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Georgetown University.
