Laurence Cheng

Laurence Cheng is a highly experienced clinical development professional currently serving as Vice President at RAPT Therapeutics since August 2019, after holding the position of Senior Medical Director. Concurrently, Laurence has been affiliated with UCSF since July 2011, initially as an Assistant Professor and now as an Associate Clinical Professor, playing a key role in supervising and teaching fellows and students within the Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Diseases clinic. Prior to RAPT Therapeutics, Laurence was a Medical Director at Amgen, focusing on early clinical development in inflammation and leading cross-functional teams. Laurence holds an MD and PhD in Medicine and Immunology from the University of Washington, as well as an A.B. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
