Andrew Jan

Andrew Jan currently serves as the Special Assistant to Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance and Audit Officer Alexander A. Bustamante at the University of California Office of the President, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this role, Andrew Jan was the Chief of Staff for Atul Butte, MD, PhD at the University of California, San Francisco, where notable achievements included receiving a SPOT Award for significant contributions and serving as an interim project manager for the Innovate for Health fellowship. Andrew Jan has extensive experience in administrative and academic personnel roles across various University of California campuses, including positions as Executive Administrator and Academic Personnel Analyst. Educationally, Andrew Jan holds a Master of Arts in History from UCLA and has pursued additional graduate studies in Near and Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin while also earning a Bachelor of Arts in History from UC San Diego.
