Kathy Eftekhari

Kathy Eftekhari serves as Chief of Staff to the Vice President for Agriculture & Natural Resources and Senior Organizational Development Consultant at the University of California Office of the President, where efforts focus on enhancing organizational efficiency through data analytics and strategic initiatives. Prior experience includes tenure as Executive Director at Battle Creek Unlimited, where Kathy reorganized operations for the state's oldest non-profit arts council, and as Director of Economic Development, overseeing revitalization and communication efforts. Earlier roles encompass leadership positions at First Data Resources, UC Berkeley School of Education, San Juan School District, St. Giles College, Bosphorus University, and Berlitz School of Languages. Kathy holds a Ph.D. in Education/Research and Policy Analysis from the University of California, Berkeley, and multiple advanced degrees in Educational Administration, Adult Education, and Liberal Studies from California State University and Boğaziçi University.
