Kelly Drumm has extensive experience in legal counsel, particularly within the University of California Office of the President since 2006. Initially serving as Senior Counsel, Kelly advanced to Deputy General Counsel for Legal Policy & Operations and also held the role of Special Counsel & Chief of Staff to the General Counsel. In these capacities, Kelly led the Land Use Group and managed a team of over 11 attorneys, focusing on areas such as land use permits, real estate development, and environmental compliance. Prior experience includes positions as an Attorney at Barg Coffin Lewis & Trapp, LLP, and Staff Attorney at the California Environmental Law Project. Kelly holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology & Archaeology from California State University-Sacramento.
