Zoanne Nelson

Zoanne Nelson is an accomplished finance and strategy professional with extensive experience in higher education and program management. Currently serving as Associate Vice President, Finance and Strategy at the University of California Office of the President since April 2012, Zoanne collaborates with executive leaders across the UC system to enhance financial sustainability and health initiatives. Previous roles include Chief Strategy Officer and Associate Vice President at UC, where strategic planning and organizational design were key responsibilities, and Executive Director of the Program Management Office, focusing on long-term strategic planning and performance management. Zoanne's background also encompasses significant experience at UCSF, VMware, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and J.P. Morgan, along with a strong educational foundation, holding an MBA in International Business from American University and a BS in Business and Economics from the University of Delaware.
