Anil Madhavapeddy is a distinguished academic and industry professional currently serving as a Professor of Planetary Computing at the University of Cambridge since November 2009, where research focuses on innovative operating systems for a digital world. Additionally, Anil is the Executive Director at the 4C: Cambridge Centre for Carbon Credits and has held roles such as Board Advisor at Tarides, Fellow at Pembroke College, and Developer for the OpenBSD Project since 2000. Anil has been a Member of the Foundation Council for the Tezos Foundation and was previously a Member of the Technical Staff at Docker, Inc., and CTO at Unikernel Systems. Anil co-founded Ashima Arts, specializing in multiplayer games, and served as Senior Architect and Director, Products at Citrix Systems. Anil holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and a BEng in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College London.
