Azah Awah

Azah Awah is an experienced program manager currently serving at the University of Cambridge since January 2023. Prior to this role, Azah was the Program Manager for Higher Education at the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) from September 2018 to January 2023. Additional experience includes serving as a Program Associate at the United Nations Regional Centre for Disarmament, focusing on research and policy related to security developments in West and Central Africa, and coordinating peace and security-centric projects. Azah's career began with roles at the African Leadership Centre, including an internship and a program associate position, followed by a graduate research assistant role at the Centre for Rehabilitation and Abolition of Torture.
