Graham Matthews

Graham Matthews has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical services. Graham currently holds the position of Data Centre Critical Services Team Lead at the University of Cambridge since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Centre Critical Services Engineer at the same institution from April 2021 to April 2022. From 2018 to 2021, Graham was a Data Centre Critical Services Engineer at the University of Cambridge Information Services. Graham started their career as an Electrical Apprentice at P A Collacott & Co in September 2002, where they worked until December 2006. Graham also held the role of Senior Building Services Technician (Electrician) at the University of Cambridge Department of Physics from November 2006 to April 2018. In this position, their responsibilities included maintenance, servicing, and emergency fault response for electrical building services.

Graham Matthews completed a City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Services Electrical Installation from Cambridge Regional College in 2005. Graham then attended the University of Cambridge, where they studied Electrical Testing of In-Service Equipment. Graham also obtained various certifications, including a Certified Data Centre Design Professional from CNet Training in 2019 and multiple certifications from City & Guilds and other institutions between 2003 and 2013.
