Robail Yasrab

Robail Yasrab is a Senior Researcher at the University of Cambridge since February 2023, focusing on the development of statistical and machine learning methods for identifying clinically actionable disease subtypes. Additionally, Robail serves as a Visiting Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Oxford, contributing to third-year Engineering Science tutorials and working as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in the Biomedical Image Analysis Group. Previously, Robail held a Research Fellow position at the University of Nottingham, where research centered on image-based phenotyping computer vision techniques to address global food security challenges. Experience also includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Science and Technology of China, specializing in semantic segmentation of 2D images using deep learning, and a PhD earned under the prestigious CAS-TWAS program.
