Geoff Rodgers has a robust academic and professional background in earthquake engineering and related fields. Currently, Geoff serves as the Immediate Past President and a Management Committee Member of the New Zealand Society for Earthquake Engineering, having held the positions of President and President Elect. In academia, Geoff has been with the University of Canterbury since October 2012, where the roles range from Lecturer to Professor. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Otago and a Visiting Fulbright-EQC Graduate Student position at Texas A&M University. Geoff's educational foundations were established at the University of Canterbury.
