Philippa Martin

Philippa Martin is currently the Vice-Chair of IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Diversity Ad-Hoc Committee. Philippa is also a member of the IEEE Communications Society Financial Standing Committee (FinCom), the IEEE Comsoc Strategic Planning Standing Committee, and the IEEE Comsoc Board of Governors. Philippa is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury, where Philippa has held various leadership roles such as Incident Controller, Dean of Engineering, and Founder of the ENG ME! peer mentoring program. With a strong academic background and extensive experience in engineering and leadership, Philippa is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the field of electrical and computer engineering.
