Trevor Nesbit

Trevor Nesbit has extensive academic experience in computer science and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Canterbury since January 2021, alongside a role as an Academic Developer. Previously, Trevor held senior lecturer positions at the Ara Institute of Canterbury and the University of Brighton, with a focus on subjects such as data analytics and information systems. Trevor's career also includes significant roles at the University of Canterbury and CPIT, where leadership responsibilities in degree programs were undertaken. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Education and multiple degrees in business and computing from the University of Canterbury and Massey University, along with certifications in adult teaching.
