Yolande Lawrence

Yolande Lawrence currently serves as the PA to the Executive Dean of Engineering at the University of Canterbury since June 2022. With extensive experience as a Business Support Specialist, Yolande has worked as a part-time contractor since January 2016, providing specialized business support to various small companies. Prior roles include serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Stepping Stone Trust, where strategic and operational administrative support was provided while also managing compliance documentation. At Ara Institute of Canterbury, Yolande functioned as a Senior Project Administrator within the Project Management Office, offering support in project management and internal communications. Additional experience includes an administration coordinator role for the Christchurch office during the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Christchurch Mosque attacks and previous positions at SCAPE Public Art, University of Canterbury, CPIT, and various companies in New Zealand and Japan. Yolande holds a Diploma in ICT from CPIT, is Xero Certified, and has a Diploma in Travel & Tourism from Sir George Seymour School of Travel and Tourism.
