Betsey Bakker

Betsey Bakker, M.A.P., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Divisional People Partner for the Central Division at Walmart since September 2023. With extensive experience in human resources, Betsey has held positions such as Senior People Leader at Amazon from 2021 to 2023, and Vice President, Chief People Officer at Quality Restaurant Group in 2019-2020. Betsey’s background includes a significant tenure at SONIC Drive-In from 2000 to 2019, where roles included Senior Director of Franchise Human Resources and Regional Human Resources Consultant. Additionally, Betsey contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Central Arkansas, specializing in Strategic HR Management. Betsey holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of Central Arkansas.
