Bulent Soykan

Bulent Soykan serves as a Research Scientist in Advanced Systems and AI at the Pegasus Research Institute, University of Central Florida since February 2023, having previously held the position of Preeminent Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution. With extensive experience in military and defense sectors, Bulent managed multi-national defense projects at HST Automotive, achieving over 25% profitability with budgets exceeding $50 million. A retired Colonel from the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Defence, Bulent’s career includes leading missile and rocket systems acquisition projects, conducting operational research analysis for NATO missions, and managing various complex military projects that significantly enhanced operational efficiency. Bulent holds multiple advanced degrees, including Ph.D.’s in Engineering Management and Operations Research, and has a profound background in project management and simulation modeling.
