Erik Sand

Erik Sand serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy at the University of Central Florida, focusing on developing partnerships and project opportunities for the graduate game development program. As the Principal and Founder of Education Design Group LLC, Erik consults for early-stage education technology ventures, providing go-to-market and sales strategies. Previously, Erik held roles including Vice President of Customer Development and Orlando Operations at Junyo, and Vice President of Sales, Business Development, and Operations at 360Ed, where responsibilities included revenue generation and strategic relationship development. Erik's career spans over two decades in various roles at IBM, Gensym, and Digital Equipment Corporation, involving business development and engineering in consulting and emerging technologies. Erik holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and a Master of Science in Industrial and Management Engineering, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
