Janelle Hom

Janelle Hom serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Volunteer Engagement and Foundation Board Relations at the University of Central Florida since February 2023, where leadership and strategy are provided to bolster the UCF Foundation Board of Directors and campaign volunteers. Previously, Janelle Hom held the position of Executive Director at the American Lung Association from May 2008 to February 2023, directing multi-county operations, fundraising initiatives, and volunteer management. Janelle Hom started in nonprofit development roles, including Development Manager and Coordinator, contributing significantly to fundraising efforts and volunteer program management. Janelle Hom holds a Master of Arts in Political Policy and Analysis from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa, along with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
