Kevin Corcoran currently serves as the Assistant Vice Provost of the Center for Distributed Learning at the University of Central Florida since August 2023, and holds roles as a Faculty Peer Observer and Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University since September 2018. Previously, Kevin was a Course Marking Liaison for the New England Board of Higher Education and the Associate Vice President of Digital Learning for the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education, where leadership involved coordinating initiatives for digital accessibility and online learning across a 17-institution system. As Chair of the OER Advisory Council, Kevin led efforts that resulted in significant savings for students through Open Educational Resources. Career highlights also include a lengthy tenure at the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium as Executive Director, supporting various eLearning initiatives, and serving as Co-Chair of the Connecticut Legislative OER Task Force. Kevin holds an MBA in Technology Management from Walden University and a BA in English from the University of Connecticut.
