Mara Allen

Mara Allen is a seasoned rowing coach currently serving as the UCF Rowing Head Coach at the University of Central Florida since July 2023, with previous experience as the Associate Head Coach at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2022 to November 2023, and as an Assistant Rowing Coach at the University of Texas from August 2014 to September 2022. Prior to her coaching career, Mara Allen worked in various accounting roles, including Staff Accountant at Keating Consulting Group and Accountant at Sprouts Cooking Club. Additionally, Mara Allen has experience as a Health Coach at the YMCA of San Francisco and as an SAT Teacher at The Princeton Review. An accomplished athlete, Mara Allen trained with the USA Rowing Team from 2008 to November 2011, earning a bronze medal in the Women's 4- event at the 2010 World Championships in New Zealand. Mara Allen holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Accounting Certificate from UC Berkeley Extension.
