Rachel Schaefer

Rachel Schaefer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advancement strategy and campaign management, currently serving as Associate Vice President, Chief of Staff and Campaign Director at the University of Central Florida since June 2013. Rachel has held multiple leadership roles within the institution, including Associate Vice President for Advancement Strategy and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Assistant Vice President positions focused on prospect development and campaign management. Prior to this, Rachel contributed to organizations such as Bentz Whaley Flessner as Director of Research/Consultant, St. Paul Academy and Summit School as Manager of Prospect Research, and HealthEast Foundation as Prospect Research Program Manager. Additional roles include Associate Development Officer at the University of Minnesota Foundation and a Customer Service position at Thomson Reuters. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech/Communication Studies from Northwestern University and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida.
