Caroline Keep is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Central Lancashire, specializing in digitalization in education with expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. Caroline also serves as a Specialist Teacher in the BAE Inspiring Lancashire Programme, which promotes 3D printing technologies and digital skills among youth. Previously, as the Director of Spark Makerspace at Penketh High School, Caroline established the first makerspace in a UK school and achieved recognition as the National New Teacher of the Year. Additionally, Caroline has experience as a Learning Technologist at Future Tech Warrington and as a Geotechnical Engineer for British Waterways, demonstrating a strong interdisciplinary background in education, engineering, and environmental management. Caroline holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and multiple degrees in Applied Data Science, Physics, and Geophysics.
