Crystal Westphal

Crystal Westphal has a diverse work experience history. Crystal started their professional career as a PBX Operator and Admitting Secretary at St. Francis Hospital & Health Services from July 2005 to June 2006. Crystal then transitioned to the role of Community Relations & Development Assistant at the same hospital from June 2006 to August 2007. After that, they worked as a Clinic Technician and Unit Secretary at The Finley Hospital-Visiting Nurse Association from August 2008 to April 2011.

Crystal then joined the Law Office of Whelan, Scherr, Glen & Mead L.L.C. as a Legal Assistant from August 2011 to March 2012. During their time there, they supported three attorneys, handled billing and invoice data, prepared accounts receivable/payable reports, and maintained case files.

In 2012, Crystal began their employment at the University of Central Missouri. Crystal initially served as an Office Professional, providing support to the Director of the Missouri Safety Center and the Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Program. Their responsibilities included compiling reports, managing calendars, and maintaining databases. Later, they became an Insurance Specialist-Athletics, a role they held until 2022.

Currently, Crystal holds multiple positions at the University of Central Missouri. Crystal is an Assistant Athletic Director Business Operations since July 2022, an Assistant Athletic Director-Senior Woman Administrator since July 2023, and an Associate Athletic Director Business Operations since January 2024. These positions involve overseeing athletic department operations, managing budgets, and coordinating administrative tasks.

Crystal Westphal completed their Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Biology from Simpson College. In 2000 to 2002, Crystal also studied Nursing at Mercy College of Health Sciences.
