Daniel Snyder

Daniel Snyder, Ed.D, CSP, is an accomplished safety professional serving as the Owner and Founder of Safety Mentor, LLC since June 2019, focusing on mentoring, professional development, and customized eLearning solutions. Snyder also holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Safety Science at the University of Central Missouri and serves as Director At Large for the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), where responsibilities include managing society affairs and overseeing an annual budget. Prior experience includes founding SPAN International Safety Workshops, advising on safety responses during the BP Deep Water Horizon oil spill at Witt O'Brien's, and roles at the National Safety Council and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Snyder earned a Doctor of Education in Adult and Lifelong Learning from the University of Arkansas, along with a Master of Education in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Science and Biology.
