Darla Harmon is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor relations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development at the University of Central Missouri since October 2022, Darla previously held the position of Development Director at the Salvation Army from March 2018 to October 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Development Officer for Corporations and Foundations at Missouri S&T from February 2013 to March 2018, where Darla developed relationships with corporate and foundation donors and managed the proposal submission process. Earlier in their career, Darla was the Director of Alumni and Development at Drury University from February 2004 to February 2013, focusing on securing funds from individual, corporate, and foundation donors. Darla Harmon holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in English, both from Drury University.
