Mahtab Ahmad Khan

Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Central Punjab

Mahtab Ahmad Khan has been a dean at the Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Central Punjab since November 2019. Prior to that, they were an associate professor at The University of Lahore from December 2016 to November 2019. Mahtab has also worked as an assistant professor at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan from December 2015 to December 2016, and as a lecturer at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) from February 2010 to July 2011. Mahtab has also gained research experience in neuroscience while working at University of Applied Sciences Lübeck from November 2011 to August 2015. Additionally, they have worked as an assistant pharmaceutical chemist at Drugs testing laboratory (DTL) from December 2008 to February 2010, and as a hospital pharmacist at District Headquarter hospital (DHQ) Vehari from July 2008 to December 2008.

Dr. Mahtab Ahmad Khan received their Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Universität zu Lübeck, Germany. Mahtab also holds a Master of Philosophy in Pharmacology from Bahauddin Zakariya University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the same school. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology, Zoology, and Chemistry from Bahauddin Zakariya University. Dr. Khan is also a Registered Pharmacist, having received certification from the Punjab Pharmacy Council.
