Amy R. Lopez

Amy R. Lopez is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal field. Currently serving as Sr. Assistant University Counsel at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since May 2022, Lopez previously worked at the Colorado Attorney General's Office from February 2018 to April 2022, focusing on medical licensing litigation and administrative law while acting as General Counsel for the State Personnel Board and the Colorado Medical Board Licensing Panel. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Deputy State Public Defender from November 2010 to February 2018, providing criminal representation for indigent clients, and an internship at the Colorado State Public Defender from December 2008 to May 2010. Lopez also worked as a Project Assistant at Grenzebach Glier and Associates from June 2006 to April 2007.
