David Aylward

David Aylward is currently a Senior Scholar at the Farley Health Policy Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where efforts focus on redesigning health and social service systems to support vulnerable populations. As President of COMCARE since 2011, Aylward specializes in health, business, systems, and policy consulting, also serving as Senior Advisor to the Wireless Infrastructure Association. Aylward held previous advisory roles at Salud Family Health Centers and Community Health Center, Inc., and has extensive experience in leadership positions, including Executive Director of the mHealth Alliance and Chairman of the Emergency Interoperability Consortium. Aylward founded National Strategies, a consulting firm, and has been involved in various initiatives aimed at improving health and wellbeing through innovation and technology. Educational qualifications include a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
