Jeffrey Glasheen

Jeffrey Glasheen, MD, serves as the Director at the Institute for Healthcare Quality, Safety & Efficiency since January 2012 and has held various leadership roles at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since July 2003, including Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Quality and Safety Education, Director of the Hospital Medicine Program, and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Training Program. Additionally, Jeffrey Glasheen held the position of Chief Quality Officer at UCHealth and the University of Colorado Hospital from March 2017 to June 2020 and September 2015 to March 2020, respectively. Previous experience includes serving as Director of the Hospital Medicine Program at the Denver Veteran's Affairs Medical Center from July 2000 to June 2003. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Drake University, and specialized training in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
