Jose Castillo-Mancilla

Jose Castillo-Mancilla serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at ViiV Healthcare since March 2023. Concurrently, Jose has held multiple academic positions at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since August 2008, including Volunteer Clinical Associate Professor, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Assistant Professor of Medicine. Prior experience includes serving as an Infectious Diseases Consultant at Rio Grande Medical Group from July 2005 to July 2008 and completing an Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic from July 2003 to June 2005. Jose began medical training as an Internal Medicine Resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach from July 2000 to June 2003 after obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Universidad La Salle, A.C. from 1993 to 1999 and a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Med from Preparatoria La Salle del Pedregal from 1989 to 1992.
