Tonya Brunetti

Co-director Of High Performance Computing Resources at University of Colorado Cancer Center

Tonya Brunetti currently serves as the Co-Director of High Performance Computing Resources at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, facilitating access to computing resources for scientists. In addition, Tonya holds the position of Assistant Research Professor of Computational Biology, focusing on bioinformatics software development within the Department of Immunology & Microbiology. This role includes extensive work on neoantigen analysis, RNA sequencing, and educational responsibilities for the IMMU6110 course. Previous experience includes contributions as a Software Developer and Computational Biologist at the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine, and a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Chicago concentrated on cancer genomics. Tonya's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular/Cell Biology from The University of New Mexico, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from University of Colorado Boulder.
