Zachary Walker

Zachary Walker is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since October 2015, focusing on the development and optimization of new immunotherapies and antibody-based treatments for multiple myeloma. Prior to this role, Zachary served as a Research Scientist at the Center for Innovation in Global Health Technologies at Northwestern University from October 2011 to September 2015, where the emphasis was on designing and testing affordable nucleic-acid based diagnostics for tuberculosis and HIV in developing countries. Zachary's early career included positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northern Arizona University from August 2008 to May 2011, facilitating laboratory courses in General Microbiology and Medical Microbiology, as well as teaching writing in biological sciences. Zachary began in research as a Research Technician at the Merriam-Powell Center for Environmental Research from May 2006 to May 2008. Zachary holds a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, both from Northern Arizona University.
