Robert Montanaro

Robert Montanaro is an experienced soccer coach and professional player with a strong background in athletic program management and marketing. Currently serving as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Connecticut since July 2024, Robert previously held similar coaching positions at Adrian College and Boston University Academy, where Robert led the boys varsity soccer team to an impressive 11-1 record and a league championship in 2023. Robert's diverse experience also includes roles in brand marketing and social media management, as well as professional soccer playing stints in Sweden and Puerto Rico, where notable accomplishments included leading a team to its highest historical finish and achieving the lowest goals against average in the league. Robert holds a Master's degree in Marketing from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Bates College.
