Tina Huey

Tina Huey serves as the Associate Director of Faculty Development at the University of Connecticut, where responsibilities include leading faculty development programming with an emphasis on generative AI and pedagogical strategies in writing and discussion. With a rich background in academia, Tina has worked as an Academic Specialist in the Department of English, teaching seminars that focus on inquiry, critical thinking, and multimodal composition. Tina has also held various roles, including Project Manager for a start-up university in Saudi Arabia, where curriculum development and relationship management were key tasks. Additionally, Tina has experience as a Program Officer at Aarhus University, developing fundraising strategies, and as Assistant Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at the University of Connecticut Foundation. Tina earned a Ph.D. in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Smith College.
