Bethany Cross

Bethany Cross is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications and Engagement Officer at the University of Cumbria since January 2025. Previously, Bethany held the position of Digital Marketing Executive (PR) at Lakeland from October 2018 to December 2024, where responsibilities included managing and executing the in-house PR and influencer strategy. Earlier roles included PR Executive and PR Assistant at Lakeland, Visual Merchandiser at Primark Stores Limited, and various internships in styling, PR, and marketing communications. Bethany holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, with a communication pathway from Liverpool John Moores University, and A Levels in Product Design Textiles, Fine Art, and Psychology from Ulverston Victoria Sixth Form.
