Chelsea Rooney

Chelsea Rooney is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Assistant Director at the Center for Student Involvement and Student Leadership Programs at the University of Dayton since August 2017. Responsibilities include leading office education initiatives, developing leadership curricula, overseeing program planning, and managing student staff. Prior to this role, Chelsea worked at the University of Missouri-Columbia as a Graduate Assistant and held positions such as Director of Student Activities, where oversight included a large budget and numerous events. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and ongoing pursuit of a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Dayton. Additional experience includes event management teaching and contributions to diversity programming.
