Darlene Weaver

Darlene Weaver currently serves as the Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Dayton, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Darlene Weaver was the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and a Professor at Duquesne University from July 2012 to July 2023. Earlier academic appointments include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Villanova University from 2001 to 2012, as well as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Georgetown University from 1998 to 2001. Darlene Weaver holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Ethics from the University of Chicago, a Master of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Professional and Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University.
