Maggie Sheehan

Maggie Sheehan currently serves at the Ohio Department of Agriculture since October 2023 and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communications at the University of Dayton since January 2022. Previous experience includes roles at NiSource from June 2022 to September 2023, and the Ohio Secretary of State from January 2019 to June 2022 as Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Press Secretary. Maggie was part of the communications team for the DeWine | Husted for Ohio Campaign from May 2018 to January 2019 and served as Deputy Communications Director and Legislative Liaison at the Ohio Department of Taxation from January 2017 to May 2018. Additional roles include Marketing Specialist at the Ohio Development Services Agency and Communications Intern at the Office of Ohio Governor John R. Kasich. Maggie began her career as an intern in various capacities, including at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and the University of Dayton. Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Social Work from the University of Dayton.
